Day 30 - 32 - Las Cruces

DAY 1 - Traveling to Las Cruces

First glimpse of the white sands

A stop at White Sands National Monument.
One of the most amazing places I've seen!

The water table is right below the surface, so any rain at all and a lake surfaces.

DAY - 2 - A visit to White Sands Missile Base

What a beautiful back drop

A side trip on the way back to Las Cruces to the nearby mountains

DAY 3 - Taking it easy

OMGOSH...we had a hail storm like neither of us had seen before!

The hail was as big as marbles.

One more visit to Dion's - my new favorite pizza place.

Good thing they aren't in CA!
